How it works

Follow $100 of trading from the fee to your wallet.

  1. 01 · The fee

Every $CARRY trade pays a 3% fee in ETH.

The fee is taken in CARRY's own Pons pool: a 1% Pons base fee plus a 2% creator fee. Pons keeps 30% of its base fee, $0.30 of every $100; the other $2.70 reaches Carry.

    To holders · 100%

$2.565 buys your stock · $0.135 pays for buying and sending
  2. 02 · The purchase

Every 12 hours, the holders' part buys stocks.

At 00:00 and 12:00 UTC, everything that reached Carry works for holders: $2.565 of every $100 buys SPY, COIN, CRCL, MSTR or GLXY, one purchase per stock, shared by weight among the holders who picked it; $0.135 pays for buying and sending, and whatever that cost fund holds above a $1,000 buffer is added to the next round's stock purchases. A pick is fixed at the start of each round; if you never pick, it is SPY.

A stock is bought once its part reaches $20. A smaller amount carries over from round to round for up to 72 hours; then the stock is bought with whatever has accumulated.

  3. 03 · Your weight

Your share follows your average balance.

Every hour we snapshot balances. Your weight is your average balance over the round, capped at what you still hold at payout. Below 10,000 CARRY — no share.

12 snapshots a round, each at a random minute.

    • Held the whole round — full weight.
    • Bought mid-round — counted for the hours you held.
    • Sold part before payout — capped at what is left.
    • Sold everything before payout — zero.

Your share of a round is your weight divided by the sum of all weights.

  4. 04 · Your balance

    Nothing to claim.

Each round, your part is added to your balance in the stock you picked. Once it reaches $1, it is sent to your wallet automatically.

Share = your CARRY ÷ the total supply of 1,000,000,000. This is a floor: the real sum of weights leaves out the pool, the Pons curve, the burn address and wallets below 10,000 CARRY, so your real share is at least this. Carry gets 2.70% of volume; the estimate counts the part that buys your stock, after the cost of buying and sending. Below 10,000 CARRY there is no share.

FAQ

Do I need to own a stock to buy $CARRY?

No. You buy with ETH.

Where are my stocks?

Each round's amount is added to your balance in the stock you picked, shown on the Your share page. Once that balance reaches $1, it is sent to your wallet on Robinhood Chain automatically.

How do I sell them?

Swap them on Robinhood Chain: SPY, COIN, CRCL and MSTR against ETH; GLXY against USDG, a US dollar stablecoin.

Do I need to claim?

No. Amounts accrue and are sent automatically from $1.

SPY dividends?

Robinhood reflects dividends and splits in the token itself, through an on-chain multiplier: your token balance stays the same, and the shares each token stands for change. The issuer's rules apply; Carry is not involved.

What makes Carry different?

You pick the stock you are paid in. Anyone can check any address without connecting a wallet. After launch, every round's math will be published as a file.

In trading, carry is what a position earns while it is held. Carry passes its part of the trading fees to holders in tokenized stocks — in the one each holder picks.
